Reply 1 : 94 idle erratic
Your whole engine sounds like it's loaded with aftermarket parts (aftermarket thermostat and thermostat gasket, brake booster, TPS, mass air flow sensor, to name a few) so even a Toyota engineer might not know what to do to make it run right.
I'd start with a new Toyota thermostat and thermostat gasket and then after the engine is completely warmed up, try setting the idle speed to 750-800 RPM.
Then if that doesn't help the erratic idle I'd get an intake manifold with throttle body, TPS and idle air control valve from a junkyard 22RE so that at least those parts would be Toyota parts once again.
