fuel filter direction

my 87 22re fuel filter is now zip tied in and hangin there





"OUT" is written on the top of the unit. the line going into the block is on the top. the line from the tank is on the bottom of the filter(the way it sits now). it is at a slight angle maybe 45 degrees.



does this sound right? i can be more descriptive. It has been idling low and im checking this before i turn the idle up
